Costa have really outdone themselves this year.
Costa’s Christmas drinks range has finally been unveiled and it was well worth the wait. This menu combines their legendary beverages with everyone’s favourite chocolates, including Quality Street’s Purple One, After Eight, and Terry’s Chocolate Orange! Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long to try these chocolatey treats as they’ll be available in stores all over the UK from November 3. Turns out, life really is like a box of chocolates… [Featured image: Costa Coffee]
From early next week, we can get our hands on the Quality Street Purple One Latte. It is a festive rendition of their classic latte and is flavoured with rich caramel chocolate sauce, hazelnut syrup, and garnished with a dairy swirl. Moreover, this drink comes with a Purple One chocolate, so you won’t have to fight tooth and nail for the best treat in the Quality Street box.
Up next is the After Eight Hot Chocolate (although you can order this drink any time of the day!). If you’re partial to a mint and chocolate combo, this one will be right up your street. Peppermint syrup and a smattering of chocolate powder will create this wonderful beverage and you guessed it, there will be a After Eight thin to enjoy afterwards.
Last but definitely not least is the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate. This Christmassy creation was inspired by their Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin and is expected to be just as popular. It’s described as “a perfect blend of Costa Coffee’s Signature Hot Chocolate, flavoured with a specially created orange syrup, finished with a light dairy swirl and a festive glittery sprinkle”, and is completed with a slice of Terry’s Chocolate Orange. This exclusive drink is also available at Costa Express machines – the good news just keeps on coming.
Those who aren’t the biggest chocolate fans can tuck into one of their other festive winter warmers. The much-loved Hot Spiced Apple and Irish Velvet and Black Forest Chocolate Frostinos will be returning this winter. There’s truly something for everyone.
