Tucked away in the streets of London, north of Hyde Park and west of Marble Arch, you’ll find the positively charming Connaught Village. Offering a respite from the hustle and bustle of London, it’s somewhere to slow down and admire your surroundings. And this month, they’re giving visitors even more to admire as Connaught Village undergoes a magical transformation for Christmas – with a special guest to boot.
They’re going all out for Christmas with a sparkling celebration set to take over the area on Thursday, November 27. We’re talking everything from glimmering Christmas lights suspended above the streets to carols, creative workshops, a pop-up market, and more. And the area’s newest resident, Paddington Bear, will also be joining in on the festivities. Paddington will be decorated with a festive floral display, making for the ultimate Christmas selfie.
A Connaught Village Christmas celebration
At the core of the Christmas celebrations is a festive pop-up market at 55-57 Connaught Street from 5-8pm. There, visitors can indulge in seasonal tipples and bites from local eateries, as well as browse goods and exclusive offers from speciality shops.
There will also be carol performances from the St John’s Hyde Park Choir, spreading Christmas cheer throughout Connaught Village. And spread throughout the area, special neon decorations will spread love and cheer for the festive season.
Naturally, the stores and venues in the area are also joining in on the Christmas celebrations. In-store activations and workshops include:

- Limited-edition Connaught Village-inspired Christmas wrapping paper designed by artist Lydia Bourhill (West and Hill)
