Colours in Hoxton is throwing the festive party of the year – the Christmas Sing-Along Disco!
This vibrant east London venue has already hosted a rainbow of events within just three months of opening, and its 300-capacity live music space makes Colours the perfect place for an intimate party.
Above all, it’s ‘The Colour Trap’ that makes this venue so iconic. Burning Man lighting sculptor Christopher Schardta created this captivating LED ceiling installation to make any event a colourful one. Grab a pair of prismatic gazing specs from behind the bar to enjoy their ‘Holiocentric Electric’ installation, and see colours on every spectrum. But let’s not distract from the real reason you’ll be visiting…
The Christmas Sing-Along Disco, which will take place on December 6, will be spread across two spaces. The first room will be banging out non-stop Christmas classics that we all know and love (Fairytale of New York, anyone?), while the second room will mix it up with RnB anthems and disco tunes – and of course a few Christmas tracks snuck in here and there. (You’re not getting away with it that easily.)
From Slade to Bublé, Kylie to Mariah, you’ll hear them all at this groovy Christmas dance party. And don’t worry, lyrics will be projected on the screen to save you after one too many wines…
So gather your friends, don your favourite Christmas jumpers and get ready to belt out your favourite festive bangers!
