What better way to kick off the festive cheer than news of a massive and beautiful new light show coming to the grounds of Kenwood around Hampstead Heath? As night falls, you can watch a glittering winter wonderland come to life around you…
The trail will take you through a series of jaw-dropping installations, including the likes of a laser garden and light avenue. Explore a unique sculpture made by acclaimed artist Hannelora Johansson, and a dazzling display at Kenwood House to round off your bright evening with a final flourish. Find tickets here.
Setting up on November 26th (not too early, not too late; in my humble opinion), Christmas At Kenwood will enjoy its inaugural year with an immersive, multisensory display of light and sound. Plus, don’t forget that the grounds of Kenwood are perched on the edge of Hampstead Heath. So, you’ll get a healthy dose of cracking-views-over-London to go alongside the light display; which is always nice, isn’t it?
Up until January 9, this glamorous installation will be open to the public from midday to 8pm. And, as it’s Christmas, you’ll be glad to hear there are festive feasts aplenty in the grounds. So you won’t have to look far when you wish to fill up on some mince pies, mulled wine and spiced cider!
It may be early, but if you’re a sucker for mesmerising light shows or are just feeling festive, plan your visit to the Kenwood Christmas Light Trail now. The sparkling sight is sure to delight guests of all ages. So, bring your family and friends along and enjoy the perfect festive night out this winter!
