Forget your stocking, Santa will be filling your pint glass this Christmas. On November 19–20, East End’s famed Truman Brewery will be giving Christmas shopping a brilliantly boozy upgrade with the launch of London Christmas Beer Market. The event – brainchild of the team behind the London Craft Beer Festival – will see the market area come alive with stalls from more than 50 of the UK’s finest breweries, serving beer, wine, cider and spirits, plus live music and a host of activities across this weekend.
Whether you fancy a knees up with your friends, or want to order your beers for the big day in December, you can do both. And, it’s not just beer: you can grab a cheese box, buy some gifts for the family and pre-order wine and spirits. The brands taking part in the festival include Signature Brew, Timothy Taylor’s, Budvar, and many more. Alongside the stalls, there will be a selection of fantastic seasonal food available from some of London’s best restaurants, so you can fuel up between shopping and drinking.
If that wasn’t enough excitement, there will be wreath making, gift wrapping and cocktail classes and demos all weekend long, so you can take your festive celebrations to the next level. Tickets are split into day (11:30am to 4:30pm) and night (6pm to 11pm) time slots, but whichever you choose, you can expect a lively entertainment schedule and plenty of Christmas buzz.
