Glide gracefully over the outdoor ice rink
This year, the Winter Village at Westfield London (Shepherd’s Bush) welcomes an exciting new addition. The 1000 square metre rink will be complete with festive back-drops, perfect for those photo-ops with friends. And, revellers can admire the Christmas tree on ice whilst they skate! The rink will be open from November 18 until January 8, and you can reserve tickets now here.
Pose for a photo with Santa
Westfield London (Shepherd’s Bush) and Westfield Stratford City are officially the gifts that keep on giving. Because this year, both centres are offering families free meet and greets with Santa. From December 10-24, walk-in between 12pm-6pm (no pre-booking needed) and take a photo with the man himself. You’ll even get to take home a small gift!
Browse lovely handmade gifts
The best Christmas presents always have that personal touch. And the I Do Handmade pop-up Christmas market is the perfect place to find those unique one-off gifts. Open until December 13, the market will showcase hand-made products from thirteen different small independent retailers daily. You’ll find everything from accessories and hand-poured candles to Christmas baubles and stockings. Plus you can get involved in mini workshops where you can have a go at making the presents yourself.
Watch wonderful choir performances
On December 7-9, Westfield London (Shepherd’s Bush) will host its annual Christmas Choir competition. Here, schools will spread Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear, hoping to be crowned the most melodious choir. Come along and watch children from over 50 West London primary schools give glowing renditions of traditional carols.
Let the kids get creative with elf-led arts and crafts
Not sorted your Christmas cards and decorations yet? Get the kids involved with the elf arts and crafts and you’ll soon be more than kitted out. Not only is this free workshop led by elves – it’s a fantastic opportunity for little ones to put their personal touch on Christmas. Sessions take place between December 14-17 and no booking is required.
