CHIN CHIN Are Delivering DIY Kits So You Can Make Their Instagrammable Desserts At Home

You can now make CHIN CHIN’s Instagrammable hot chocolates and cookie dough at home.

Due to the coronavirus lockdown, dessert kings CHIN CHIN have been trapped away behind closed doors. But, in order to keep the business afloat during these tricky times, they’ve found a way to send their iconic desserts to our homes. Delivered in the form of a DIY starter kit, these at-home sets are a simple way to recreate the CHIN CHIN experience from your kitchen.

There are two kits available: the CHIN CHIN Hot Chocolate and the CHIN CHIN Griddled Cookie Dough. Both products are suitable for vegans (if served without CHIN CHIN’s Handmade Marshmallow Fluff). And, as an added bonus, £1 of every cookie dough kit will be donated to the UCLH COVID-19 Emergency Staff Support Fund.

We tried CHIN CHIN’s Hot Chocolate and let me tell you: it’s just as good as the in store stuff (the only downfall was my lack of blowtorch, but I did make up for it with brownies so 🤷‍♀️). Being just-as-good-as-the-proper-stuff was very intentional—CHIN CHIN didn’t want to sacrifice their famous great taste just because you can’t visit the store. Both recipes include all the same premium ingredients, for example Valrhona chocolate, Maldon salt, Amazonian Tonka bean.

So, support a small business, enjoy something downright delicious and, most importantly: stay at home while you do.
