There’s nothing better than being rewarded for just going about your day to day – and when you live in London, getting around is a pretty big part of that. Whether it’s zipping around on the Tube or daydreaming out of a bus window, travelling around the capital is what helps us make the most of the city we love. And now, it could come with a little something extra. As Transport for London’s Official Payment Partner, Chase is finding ways to make travelling around London more rewarding, giving customers the chance to earn 2% cashback, up to £20 per month on their TfL journeys*.
The best bit? Your cashback can build up over time as you use your Chase card for TfL journeys, giving you a little extra to put towards whatever you fancy. So while you’re busy making your way from A to B – whether that’s Waterloo to Walthamstow or just a couple of stops down the road – your cashback could be quietly growing in the background. Think of it as a little something extra waiting in the wings for your next London adventure…
And the rewards don’t end with TfL travel. You could also earn 2% cashback by using your Chase debit or credit card to pay for groceries, takeaways, fuel, public electric vehicle charging points, and other everyday transport, or even at cafes and restaurants*. From your morning coffee to dinner with friends and the weekly food shop, there’s plenty of everyday spending that could earn you cashback too. So why not make the money you’re already spending work a little harder – which means there’s potentially more waiting for you when it’s time to do something fun.
What’s more, Chase is running a prize draw to give Chase customers the chance to win a one year TfL Travelcard for eligible routes in zones 1-6, valid from 1 January 2027.
To enter the prize draw, simply sign up to Chase (if you haven’t already) and complete one eligible journey by tapping in on a pay-as-you-go contactless card reader with your Chase debit or credit card by 4:29am on October 12 2026. Yes, your everyday commute could count!
Eligible journeys include the Underground, Overground, DLR, London Buses, London Trams, Elizabeth Line, Thames Clippers River Bus, IFS Cloud Cable Car and on most National Rail services within London zones 1-9. You can enter the draw up to a maximum of 10 times by travelling on 10 different days, with each ‘day’ running from 4:30am to 4:29am the next day. Chase customers can also enter the draw once by emailing Chase.
There are a total of 31 Travelcards up for grabs – and each lucky winner will also get an exclusive Chase and TfL branded wallet to keep their Travelcard in!
The prize draw runs from 04:30am on 14 September 2026 to 04:29am on 12 October 2026. So as long as you tap in on a TfL card reader by 4:29am on 12 October it’ll count as an entry.
Payments or top ups on Oyster Cards won’t enter you into the prize draw – neither will buying tickets and Travelcards at TfL ticket machines or counters. You must tap in with a Chase debit or credit card to enter.
Please note, the Travelcard can’t be used for:
- Oyster Card payments and top-ups at Oyster Card machines
- National Rail tickets and Travelcards purchased at TfL ticket machines or counters
- London River Bus journeys (however, you can present your Travelcard to receive 30% off)
- IFS Cloud Cable Car journeys
- any journeys or payments made through the TfL Go app
