Hear ye, hear ye, as season two of Bridgerton hits our screens (March 25) the party of the season continues to take over the capital! Between the salacious pages of Lady Whistledown’s column, you’ll find extra exciting gossip: Secret Cinema Presents Bridgerton with Fever is truly taking London by storm. The drama of Daphne’s coming out ball has nothing on what will await you here…
Transformed into a spectacular Regency era-world, a secret location in London’s Wembley hosts gorgeous Bridgerton-esque rooms, mesmerising light shows, and a whole heap of surprises for the next few weeks. You are invited to don your most glamorous gowns and sharpest suits to truly immerse yourself in the world of the smash-hit Netflix series at the Bridgerton Ball.
The alluring experience begins the moment you buy your ticket; an exclusive website known as ‘Lady Whistledown’s Finishing School’ will aid you in all your pre-party preparations, so you’re perfectly equipped to enter the Bridgerton Ball. As you arrive through the gardens, be sure to snap some pre-event selfies as your phones will be tucked away securely on your person once you cross the ticketing threshold.
Throughout the three-hour event, you’ll embark on a storyline of your own, mingling with actors and other guests for an invitation to dance, all the while competing for the attention of the Queen. She’ll admire her subjects with a haughty elegance impossible to imitate, as she searches for the Diamond of the Ball to win her favour – it could be you! It won’t just be the Queen amused by the ongoing affairs though: does a game of chance tickle your fancy? A life-drawing class, perhaps? Or is spectating a boxing match more your speed? You’ll be able to indulge in all that and more at the Bridgerton Ball. And, of course, keeping up appearances is sure to be thirsty work, so enticing food and liqueurs await upper class members of society like yourselves.
You’ll encounter many memorable acquaintances along your way, as you saunter from room to room under frescoed ceilings, through hidden grounds, and behind concealed walls. You’ll be able to chat with your favourite characters throughout the experience; the likes of Anthony Bridgerton may pull up a chair at your table, or Eloise Bridgerton may accost you to find out how those unmarried come to be with child… Don’t forget, a secret is worth more than strong family lineage here, so keep your ear out for any gossip as you breeze past your fellow members of high society. As you relive iconic Bridgerton moments at the mesmerising light shows throughout the ball, and you’re serenaded by a live string quartet playing classical renditions of pop hits, it’ll truly feel as though you’ve been transported to 1813 London.
The event – and afterparty on selected days of the week – is sure to be the talk of the town, but will you find yourself in Lady Whistledown’s column come morning?
