BrewDog is ready and raring to go.
It’s no secret that the majority of the nation has been desperate to get back in the pub. So desperate, in fact, that some people have even created their own pub in the back garden. Needs must, amiright? And now, saving the rest of us from a pintless existence, BrewDog has confirmed that they’ll be re-opening their Shoreditch bar at 00.01am on Saturday July 4.
Literally re-opening the very minute it’s legal to, the Scottish brewery will be celebrating the official re-opening of the hospitality sector with a very special event, allowing fans to get those first, holy sips of beer again until 2.30am.
Announcing the news on their Twitter page, the brewery said: “We can’t wait to welcome you back to our bars so will be throwing open the doors the minute we’re allowed to.
“A 1 minute past midnight 4th July we’re throwing an Equity Punk exclusive preview night in Shoreditch, Newcastle and Manchester.”
The event will be ticketed to, of course, help the bars manage the number of customers inside, with each ticket costing £20 and all proceeds being donated to Hospitality In Action. The event itself will allow guests to get comfy and take a seat, before trying out BrewDog’s famous craft beers, which will be part of a guided tasting experience paired with their farm-to-table food.
The bar will be following the government’s strict social distancing rules, only permitting two households to book together for the exclusive event. Tickets are extremely limited, and you can find out more here.
For those who don’t manage to grab tickets, however, you can rest assured that there’ll be a treat especially for you, with BrewDog also announcing that they’ll be buying everyone a free beer when they re-open, which you can claim by registering here.
