One of those things about places giving away free stuff in London is that it goes in a flash, but next week Bread Ahead have free doughnuts to burrrrrrnnnnnnn as they offer up 1,000 of them on the house to hungry city dwellers hoping to kick off their working week with a sweet treat.
This should be a no-questions-asked type deal (it is free doughnuts we’re talking about here, after all), but this is happening in honour of National Doughnut Week. An entire week dedicated to them is cause for celebration, and all you’ll need to do is head over to Bread Ahead in Wembley to pick up one of a thousand doughnuts for no money.
Doughnuts will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis from 8am today (May 12), and you’ll only be allowed to get one of them each (otherwise, who knows what eating competitions would start taking place). Doughnut lovers can get their hands on any of the Bread Ahead numbers, which include the tasty crème brûlée delight.
It comes alongside the launch of the Wembley site’s brand new outdoor terrace, which seats 150 people and arrives just at the right time with the sunshine set to kiss London all through next week. National Doughnut Week should always be blessed with good weather, after all. And for when the streak of sun does finally dry up (it’s a shame to say, but we know it will), they’ve kitted the seating area with heaters so you can bite into that doughnut with the combination of an outdoor breeze and a toasty temperature.
Bread Ahead is giving away 1,000 free doughnuts at their Wembley location from 8am on Monday, May 12. Find them at 26-28 Olympic Way, Wembley Park, Wembley HA9 0NP (nearest station is Wembley Park).
