Boundary London in Shoreditch has launched its gorgeous winter roof terrace.
Inspired by the Alpine regions, Boundary’s rooftop is the perfect spot for warming cocktails, melted cheese and panoramic views of east London.
The terrace has been transformed into a winter wonderland with a gateway of silver birch tress, frosted willow twigs, fluffy seat cushions and canopies of twinkling lights. Yes, I hear you, “Isn’t it a bit cold to be sat outside?” Don’t worry, there’s a toasty fire pit, patio heaters, blankets, sheepskins rugs and heated seats. It’s not all outdoors either – you can also drink and dine inside The Orangery, the rooftop’s cosy indoor space.
Cocktails include Boundary’s very own warm rosé cider cocktail with whisky, the Snow Queen made with rum, hazelnut liqueur, Cointreau and white chocolate, and a selection of sparkling Veuve Clicquot cocktails.
The food menu is full of hearty winter classics, including: a fancy Fondue Savoyard served with baguette and cornichons; raclette served with cured meats and pink fir potatoes; and more French classics. And it doesn’t stop at savouries, my sweets! Desserts include a Passion Fruit Tart, a Caramelised Brioche with malt ice cream and a ginger crunch, and French cheeses.
All things considered, it’s a wonderful winter spot.
