The Boundary Project in Shoreditch has just launched its gorgeous winter roof terrace.
The terrace has been transformed into a winter wonderland with a gateway of silver birch tress, frosted willow twigs, fluffy seat cushions and canopies of twinkling lights. Yes, I hear you, “Isn’t it a bit cold to be sat outside?” Don’t worry, there’s a toasty fire pit, patio heaters, blankets, sheepskins rugs and heated seats. It’s not all outdoors either – you can also drink and dine inside The Orangery, the rooftop’s cosy indoor space.
Cocktails include Boundary’s very own warm cider cocktail, a spiked hot chocolate, and the ‘Smokey Snow’ made with mezcal, hysteria liqueur, orgeat syrup, lime juice and egg white. It’s a bit of a festive throwback and it’s very welcome.
The food menu is full of hearty winter classics, including: Grilled Lobster with garlic and parsley butter; a fancy Fondue Savoyard served with baguette and cornichons; Raclette served with cured meats and new potatoes; and more French classics. And it doesn’t stop at savouries, my sweets! Desserts include Salted Caramel and Chocolate Gateau, Orange and Tonka Bean Crème Brûlée, and a vegan and gluten free Apple and Almond Crunch.
Fondue, gateau and hot cider cocktails. What a trio!
