Their shiny new venue boasts a whopping 300-person capacity and features a playful and fresh design that is a striking sight upon entry. as well as everything we already know and love Bounce for (think pizza, cocktails, and the most immaculate of vibes). Head up to Level One in Turbine Hall B at the Power Station, and you’ll find that this new-venue-on-the-ping-pong-block will be the perfect place for birthday celebrations, team-building events, date nights or just some fun with your pals after a day of retail therapy.
With twelve ping pong tables, two shuffleboards and a beer pong table; there’s plenty to keep you busy, but if you still want more: Bounce Battersea is also home to Wonderball, a high-tech digital platform where you can crank your ping pong game up a notch with automatic scoring. There are also big screens which will show all the major sporting fixtures – nothing like a half-time game of ping pong, right?
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Bounce is ever-so kindly giving you the chance to win ping pong, pizza and prosecco or beers for up to 6 guests, so sign up here to be in with a chance. Game on.
The food and drink at Bounce
Whacking a ping pong ball around proved thirsty work, so it’s lucky that Bounce Battersea are on hand to serve up unique ping pong themed cocktails created in collaboration with the award-winning London mixologists from Three Sheets.
We celebrated our wins (and some of us commiserated our losses) with some of the creative concoctions available on their cocktail menu, such as the Curveball (a gin-based drink with floral notes from grape and lychee) and the Ting Pong (an exotic rum cocktail that’s topped with grapefruit Ting and a ginger and pineapple foam). There were also plenty of non-alcoholic options available, so there’s something for every member of the team to enjoy.
We take ping pong very seriously at Secret London so we had to make sure we were refueling between each round and luckily for us; their delicious food menu kept us on the top of our game. We’re talking a mouth-watering selection of sourdough pizzas including classic crowd-pleasers and innovative creations such as Chipotle Red Pepper, Truffle Mushroom and Puttanesca. With a wide range of veggie and vegan options available and the ability to make any pizza gluten-free; no player is left behind on the food front.
The entertainment
Aside from ping pong, Bounce’s in-house Games Gurus are also always on hand to level up your party. They’re there to get everyone involved and lead an exciting array of games, so even if you’re not exactly a ping pong pro; you can grab a bat, bring a good old positive attitude, and the good times will roll (just like that ping pong ball you keep dropping).
Talking of dropping things: top DJs provide the playlist and drop the very best tunes and you can also expect bottomless ping pong brunches on the weekends, seasonal events, themed parties and group packages. Bounce Battersea also offers exclusive areas and full venue hire with conferencing and meeting facilities.
As we mentioned, tickets are available now and can be booked through the Bounce website, with prices starting from as low as £6-per-person.
To encourage Battersea Power Station visitors to brush up on their batting skills before they head on over to Bounce, a free ping pong pop-up can be found in Turbine Hall B. Bounce pledges to provide opportunities for the Battersea community by hiring local people to work in the venue. In addition to the youth charity Devas, Bounce will also continue to support its mental health charity partner, the Charlie Waller Trust, with special events across the year.
