The study was conducted by Capital on Tap, who used Google search volume and social media post frequency to dictate the most popular food markets in the country.

Borough Market came out on top, with (on average) 301,000 Google searches every month for the market and 555,509 Instagram posts, but London dominated the top three spots. The following markets in the rankings are Broadway Market and Seven Dials Market, collectively reaching over 90,000 Google searches per month.
The other London markets to make the top 10 are Boxpark Shoreditch, Brixton Village Market, and Maltby Street Market.
