The Interactive Bob Marley Experience Makes Its Global Debut At London’s Saatchi Gallery Next Month

For 10 weeks this year, Londoners will have the chance to get an exclusive first look at the brand new Bob Marley One Love Experience heading to the Saatchi Gallery.

Making its global debut in London, the interactive exhibition offers up a lens into the legendary singer’s career, showcasing previously unseen photographs and memorabilia. The unmissable tour promises a journey through Bob Marley’s life, exploring the beloved artist’s passions, influences and his lasting legacy.

Opening its doors on February 2, the Bob Marley One Love Experience debuts six different interactions. Fans will be first bowled over by the One Love Music Room, showered with Bob Marley’s cherished lyrics, awards, accolades, with a centrepiece of one of the largest vinyl records in the world celebrating Legend, the highest-selling reggae album of all time.

Next, attendees will wander into the One Love Forest, awash with sights, sounds and scents to take in, providing a look into some of the visual inspirations for Marley’s songs. Move out of the forest and into the Soul Shakedown Studio after this, as you put the headphones on and get down to a silent disco paying tribute to a roster of historic songs.

The Beautiful Life Zone that follows is a look into Bob Marley’s passions in life from football to family. Here you’ll even get a chance to get a photo of yourself as goalkeeper facing Marley’s efforts on goal! After those tiring exertions, guests can relax by taking in the backstage corridor of a Bob Marley concert before heading into the Concrete Jungle Street Art Expo. Here, visitors are invited to submit their own artwork inspired by Bob Marley and One Love to be included in the exhibit.

To cap off the exhibition, fans will take in the Next Gen Zone, which honours his legacy by displaying the stunning work of his family. Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the singer’s death, and this expo pays tribute to the work of his wife Rita, his children and grandchildren to ensure his memory, as well as his values, live on. Guests can leave their own messages of peace and inclusivity at the One Love Tree, after taking in the impact of one of the great icons of music.
