Fresh from winning Best Album and Best Country Album at the Grammy Awards for Cowboy Carter this year, Beyoncé has gone ahead and confirmed the dates of her world tour of the very same name as the record.
The singer had teased which dates would be included on the long-awaited tour dates for the album – which dropped last year – on Instagram last week (and added more today), with full details for the dates confirmed. Londoners are in luck, with six (!) stadium shows announced for the capital, which are the only UK shows.
Beyoncé will play three shows at the Stade de France in Paris after her London residency, with these two sets of shows in Europe bookended by an extended run of US dates. Initially, the tour was set to see her play four nights in London and two in Paris, but extra dates were confirmed today due to phenomenal demand.
Following its 2024 release, Cowboy Carter’s success has meant that Beyoncé is now the most-nominated AND most-awarded artist in Grammy history, with 99 nominations and 35 wins.
When is Beyoncé playing London?
Beyoncé will play London’s Tottenham Hotspur stadium four times this summer on June 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, & 16 as part of the Cowboy Carter tour. It marks her first shows in the city since the 2023 run at the same venue as part of her Rennaissance world tour.
How do I get tickets for the Cowboy Carter tour?
Tickets go on general sale for Beyoncé’s shows in London this summer at 12pm local time on February 14, so if you really love your partner and all that…
Will there be a pre-sale for tickets to the shows?
Yes. There will be multiple pre-sales taking place for the shows. BeyHive is running a pre-sale for the tour dates, which runs from February 11 at 11am local time (you can find more information via Beyoncé’s website). There is also an artist pre-sale taking place, which you can sign up for the London shows here. You’ll need to have already registered for the artist pre-sale, which ran up until February 6. The pre-sale itself takes place on February 13 at 12pm local time. Alternatively, O2 Priority members will be able to access a separate pre-sale at 10am on February 13.
Tips for securing Beyoncé tickets
1. Make sure you’ve created an account on the ticket provider’s website. In this case, Ticketmaster will be selling tickets to the Cowboy Carter tour. This will erase a step needed when (figuratively) battling for tickets at the time of the sale.
2. If you already have one, be sure you know the username and password ahead of the sale – the last thing you want to be doing when the dial is turned for tickets is to be faffing around with creating a new password.
3. Log in ahead of time on the morning of the tickets going on sale.
4. Be sure your details are filled out correctly on the Ticketmaster account to ensure a smooth process when purchasing your Beyoncé. This includes card information if this is the method you choose to pay. Equally, if you wish to pay through PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay, make sure your details are up to date for these so you don’t risk your purchase for tickets bouncing back.
5. Head to the site slightly before tickets are due to be going on sale. If the conundrum with Oasis tickets taught us anything, it’s that the queue for tickets can extend to a queue getting onto the actual ticket page (a queue to then get in a queue), so it’d be wise to not be logging on at the exact time of sale.
6. Have your seats or area of the stadium you wish to watch in thought about prior to buying tickets so you can head to this part of the website when you get through to the page. You can view a full map of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium seating plan for the Beyoncé shows here.
7. Now for the actual queue. Once you’re in, DO NOT refresh your page, as this risks putting you at the back of the line where there could be thousands and thousands of people – literally multiple stadiums worth of people (I’m not bitter about missing Oasis tickets, if you can tell) –ahead of you.
8. Avoid using multiple devices with the same account, as this will also risk throwing you to the back of the queue.
9. Don’t be the person who hoards up tickets to sell on for 4x the value.
10. Good luck. You might very well need it! Just make it through this moment and you’ll be on your way to screaming Texas Hold ’em at a stadium this summer.
How much will tickets cost?
Prices haven’t yet been released, but last time she played the same venue, regular standing tickets were priced at £95, with seats priced between £50 and £170, depending on where they were in the stadium. There was also a Beyhive and ‘Club Renaissance’ standing space (£170).
Are any more shows getting announced for the Cowboy Carter tour?
There is always a possibility of more shows being announced, particularly in the case of the level of stardom we’re talking about with Beyoncé, but there is nothing concrete to suggest more shows just yet. Keep an eye out for further announcements in due course. Check back here following the ticket sales, as this is when any extra dates would presumably be added.
How many Grammy Awards did Beyoncé win?
Following its 2024 release, Cowboy Carter’s success has meant that Beyoncé is now the most-nominated AND most-awarded artist in Grammy history, with 99 nominations and 35 wins. She was nominated for 11 awards this year and took home the prize for three of these – Best Album, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for II Most Wanted with Miley Cyrus.
