A taproom party is coming to Bermondsey, and you’re invited. To celebrate all things hoppy and beer-y, Fourpure‘s taproom will be hosting a rollicking good time. The event will commemorate Beer Day Britain, which falls on Wednesday June 15.
Beer Day Britain is sure to find plenty of people raising a glass of the UK’s favourite beverage. But it happens on a Wednesday, and Fourpure wanted to make a full party out of it. As such they’ll be holding their own celebrations on Friday, June 17, so as many can join as possible.
As part of the festivities, Fourpure will offer a special flight of beers from breweries from around the British Isles. The ‘Fourpure and Friends’ flight will get you brews from Yorkshire’s Magic Rock, Wales’ Polly’s Brew Co., Scottish Fynes Ales and, of course, England’s own Fourpure. The flight will be available from the 17th-19th, so you can still partake in the festivities even if you can’t make it on Friday.
Following that, you’re spoilt for choice with 43 taps of fresh beer to choose from. With beers brewed on site, and guest beers from around the world, you’re sure to find something to sate the thirst. There’s also cornhole to keep you entertained until the beer-themed quiz taking place on both Friday and Saturday from 7:30pm.
You’ll find Fourpure’s taproom in the Bermondsey Trading Estate (SE16 3LL), two minutes walk from South Bermondsey rail station. Alternatively it’s a short walk from Bermondsey and Surrey Quays stations. Be sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.
While you’re in Bermondsey, definitely check out some of the areas other beer-brewers-and-slingers. You’ll find Cloudwater’s London taproom, Kernel’s brewery and taproom, Craft Beer Junction, The Outpost from Three Hills Brewing, and loads more just a short walk away.
