Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?
These Macaroni Cheese Scotch Eggs are a work of art, created by the little-known but possibly one of the most important artists of our generation: Beara Beara Cafe in Angel.
Beara Beara’s menu is almost entirely cheese-focussed. You can choose from cheesy croissants, cheesy scrambled eggs, cheesy crumpets, cheese toasties, cheesecake, and, of course, the almighty Macaroni Cheese Scotch Egg: a soft boiled egg encased in macaroni cheese and coated in panko breadcrumbs. Holy shhhhh.
Beara Beara, located on Angel’s Upper Street, is more than just a cafe. It’s also a free co-working and event space, as well as a shop selling gorgeous handcrafted handbags. Anyone is welcome in the co-working space – to study on the sofas, host meetings away from the office, or just enjoy the vintage style space.

Opening hours: open Monday to Saturday, 9am-6pm. Sunday, 9am-5pm.
