London has fallen down the rabbit hole once again, this time through the windows of one of the snazziest department stores around….Fortnum & Mason! Filled with looking glasses, oversized chess pieces and butterflies, as well as a massive gold pocket watch and swinging pendulums, this is the first time in Fortnum & Mason’s 309-year history that the shop windows have been taken over. There are also never-before-seen clips of the film; the new Disney and Tim Burton mash-up ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass‘ (released on 27 May).
Once inside the shop, customers will be able to see original props and costumes from the film – there will be a life-sized Alice tumbling through the shop’s four-storey atrium, as well as Jonny Depp’s costume on display in…where else other than the millinery department!
The display will be on until July, so no need for a gold pocket watch of your own…you’ve got plenty of time! We also know where to find the Alice in Wonderland themed rooftop terrace…sshhhh!
