Make sure to take your seats and buckle in for a turbulent, but no doubt wanderlust-inducing, ride; Celebrity Race Across the World is back with its fourth series this evening. Once again, we’ll see four famous pairings dare to embark on an epic adventure across countries with no phones, no credit cards and nothing but their backpacks, wits and a strict budget to fuel their plane-free travels. Here are all the facts we know so far…
When does the series start?
The wait is over: the new series of Celebrity Race Across the World 2026 airs on Wednesday, October 28 at 8pm on BBC One.
What is this year’s route?
The series kicks off from the Malaysian city of Kuching. Located on the banks of the Sarawak River, the city is known for being a gateway to the ancient tropical rainforests and wondrous wildlife of Borneo. The duos will need to navigate through prehistoric wilderness and diverse landscapes to reach sun-soaked Australia and the final checkpoint in Melbourne.
Who are the Celebrity Race Across the World 2026 contestants?
Ella and Nana

Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter Ella Eyre is taking on the adventure with childhood friend of over 20 years, Nana.
Princess and Junior

Influencer Princess Andre and her brother, musician Junior Andre, the children of Katie Price and Peter Andre, are excited to prove themselves on the race.
Sam and Kaz

Acclaimed singer and songwriter Sam Ryder is teaming up with his best friend and tour manager Kaz to take on the challenge.
Jeff and Matt

Veteran sports broadcaster Jeff Stelling is joined by his son Matt, hoping their combination of experience and youth will help them emerge victorious.
Think you can do better?

Well, if you fancy putting that bravado to the test, you can always take on Race Across the World: The Experience right here in London. The official live experience of the award-winning show, this is a chance to find out how you might fare on the real thing – just on a slightly smaller scale. The city streets will transform into your very own game board as you work in teams of 2-8 to uncover cryptic clues, decipher puzzles, manage a (virtual) budget and discover some hidden gems along the way.
There are two routes you can pick from in London: the West End or the City of London, with each one sending you on an action-packed foot chase past historic landmarks, down mysterious alleys, into storied pubs (pints optional) and ultimately leading you to the secret guestbook. The question is, do you have what it takes to top the leaderboard?
