This summer, 1800® Tequila are taking over Dalston Roof Park for a six-week residency.
Throughout the summer stint, Dalston Roof Park will be serving up bespoke 1800® Tequila cocktails, each created by Tequila Educator Oli Pergl. The sunny rooftop space will be a destination for day parties, live music gigs and community events – with panoramic east London views acting as the backdrop.
There will be four cocktails on offer, priced at £8 each: Tommy’s Margarita with lime, agave nectar, orange bitters and 1800 Silver; a T ’n’ T, which is exactly what you think it is, plus a fancy garnish of grapefruit and mint; the Cosmopolita with cranberry, lime, triple sec and 1800 Silver; and the Paloma with 1800 Silver, grapefruit, soda and lime.
A highlight of the summer schedule, of course, is National Tequila Day – and 1800® Tequila will be going all out for the big day. They’ve teamed up with British musician, poet and multimedia artist Kojey Radical to host a huge, tequila-fuelled bash on July 24. The event is totally free to attend, and you’ll even get a cocktail included with your (yes, free) ticket. The night will feature an exclusive performance from Kojey, plus the official launch of three limited edition 1800® Silver Tequila bottles that he designed.
These limited edition bottles will be available to purchase on the night and, as there are only 300 available, they are expected to become instant collectors’ items. On Saturdays and Sundays after the event, you’ll also be able to purchase limited edition t-shirts and patches featuring Kojey’s designs from the rooftop’s pop-up shop.
⭐️ For free tickets to the National Tequila Day event with Kojey Radical, head over to Fever to nab yourself a spot and a complimentary cocktail. It all takes place on July 24 from 6-11pm. You’ll find it at Dalston Roof Park, The Print House, 18-22 Ashwin Street, E8 3DL. ⭐️
Don’t worry if you miss the official Tequila Day celebrations – every day is tequila day at The 1800® Rooftop! Head there for cocktails and a boogie from July 19 to September 1 – it’s open Monday to Friday from 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 3pm.
