Famed for its iconic villain and adorable puppies, Dodie Smith’s timeless story is about to be brought to new life in a playful and family-friendly way, jam-packed with toe-tapping musical numbers and stunning visuals to boot. A Classic Tail, Reimagined for the Stage
101 Dalmations: The Musical promises a spectacular fusion of puppetry, movement, and an energetic musical score to retell the notorious of Cruella de Vil, and her notorious plot to turn the beautifully spotted pups into fashion statements.
Originally performed at the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park, this revamped production of the enduring tale has been translated and performed in theatres across the globe, soon gracing us here in London by heading to Hammersmith’s world-famous venue.
With a script by Johnny McKnight, music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge, and innovative puppetry by Jimmy Grimes, this adaptation is guaranteed to deliver a dazzling experience for all, with a whole lot of thrills and spills to boot, while remaining accessible for younger audiences.
