Classy as ever, Mr Bond.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock (quite justified in these times, to be fair), you’ll know that, at long last, the new James Bond movie is set for release.
After many delays due to the pandemic, No Time To Die, hits cinemas next week (September 30), and the luxury Burlington Arcade in Mayfair is celebrating with a big ol’ themed entrance.
The installation launched earlier this weekend and, on top of the stunning entrance, you’ll find special arches inside that run the full length of the arcade, as well as an opportunity to strike a pose with the classic James Bond “gun barrel” in the centre.
Luxury Swiss watch brand OMEGA, which hold a store inside the Arcade, will also be hosting a pp-up “Bond House”. Here, you’ll find retail boutique, a private members bar (Martini, anyone?) which includes an exclusive display of Bond artefacts and behind-the-scenes images by photographer Greg Williams. You’ll even come across a selection of OMEGA watches worn by agent 007 himself in movies since Goldeneye.
Further in, you’ll come across the first-of-a-kind Bollinger 007 Champagne bar. It celebrates the brand’s 40th anniversary with the James Bond franchise.
Jamie and Simon Reuben say: “We are delighted to be celebrating the forthcoming release of No Time To Die with this incredible 007 installation. Bond and Burlington, two timeless British icons, together make a perfect partnership. We’re excited to welcome guests to enjoy this significant moment in anticipation of the global film release.”
Head down to the Burlington Arcade to see the installation for yourself, and catch No Time To Die in UK cinemas from September 30.
