East London’s festive playground is back for a second year, filling Victoria Park with skating, eating, drinking and dancing once again…and we CAN’T WAIT! It mayyyy be a bit early to start getting excited (we are aware of the fact that it’s October…) but true to Christmas day form we just cannot contain our anticipation of festive celebrations!
New for 2015, ‘The Winter Night Garden’ is an enchanted forest that will feature screenings of Christmas classics such as ‘Love Actually’ and ‘Home Alone’. The beautiful wood-panelled and mirrored ‘Dutch Spiegeltent’ is back hosting all sorts of pantomime, theatre, cabaret and live music, including ‘Indeedy Musical Bingo’, ‘Guilty Pleasures’ and ‘Shit-faced Shakespeare’.
These are of course in addition to the street food market, mulled wine, ice skating rink, Plonk Crazy Golf course, fairground rides AND circus – making Winterville 2015 a fun-filled adventure for all! So. Many. Activities. Good job it’s free entry so you can keep on coming back!
Winterville opens on Thursday 26th November until 23rd December.
