This subterranean cocktail bar with a seriously wild menu is heading to east London for one month only.
As cocktail menus go, the one at east London’s new Twisted Bar is pretty damn cool. Colour Changing Mojitos, Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioneds (what on earth is the plural of Old Fashioned?!?!) and Rum & Raisin Espresso Martinis are just a few of the drinks on offer – but, if you descend beneath Absurd Bird on Commercial Street, you’ll discover that things get a whole lot weirder.
All wonderfully Instagrammable and wildly inventive, we bet you’ve never tried anything like the cocktails at Twisted Bar. Other boozy highlights include: the Lemon Drizzle G&T; the Cookies & Cream White Russian made with Oreos; the Taste The Rainbow Sour made with Skittles (i.e. liquid nostalgia); as well as some pretty spectacular sharing cocktails, like the Apple Pie Sangria and the Espresso Martini Cafetiere.
Every cocktail is priced at £8.50, while sharers cost £25*. Happy Hour will run all week every week for the duration of the pop-up, with drinks starting at £5 from 5pm and going up by a pound each hour until 8pm when they go back to normal price. For the hungry drunks amongst you, there’ll also be bar snacks and Twisted London’s famous fries on offer.
Aside from the edibles, there’ll also be exclusive events taking place at the underground venue, including live music, DJs on Friday and Saturday nights, plus board games and pub quizzes. (Photo credit: Twisted Bar/Jungle Creations)
