Côte d’Azur or London’s Lancashire Court? Don your summer hats and prepare for some fresh Fruits de Mer in this hidden London courtyard.
Who needs a holiday to the south of France when you can get the same vibes from this London restaurant? Often hailed as one of the best alfresco dining spots in London, Hush Mayfair has done it again and it’s all in celebration of their 18th birthday.
Guests can expect to dine in a 1920’s art deco-inspired terrace that screams coastal class. Think nautical stripes, orange wicker chairs and a fresh seafood fridge where you can clearly see the catch of the day.
You’d be fooled into thinking you’re not actually a stone’s throw away from bustling Bond Street but this courtyard terrace is the loveliest little hidden gem amongst London’s madness.
Feast on fresh seafood platters, french bread and Strawberry Glory’s douced with a champagne pastry cream and balsamic vinegar.
We recommend opting for their luxurious weekend brunch menu (served from 10am-1pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s) and treating yourself to a Lobster Benedict, complete with the fluffiest English muffins, grilled lobster, spinach and perfectly poached eggs.
Other tempting brunch options include healthy Acai bowls, frozen yoghurt and pressed juices, but we recommend saving enough room for dessert because, you know, treat yo’self. And if you only have one thing, make sure it’s the decadent mars bar cheesecake complete with praline ice cream and a pot of melted chocolate.
For more information, visit Hush’s website or find them at Lancashire Court, 8 Brook St, Mayfair, near Bond Street station, W1S 1EY.
