This New Year’s Eve, do you see yourself huddled outside among over 100,000 other Londoners, oo-ing and aa-ing at a (rather magnificent, admittedly) firework display? If so, not only are you a little crazy, but you’ve come to the right place. The Mayor has announced that from midday on Friday 21st October, tickets for the London’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks display 2016 will go on sale. There will be 110,000 tickets released to the public, costing £10 each. The tickets give you access to 6 of the viewing areas in the city. You can expect music, lighting, fireworks and more glorious madness to see your way into 2017. Tickets sold out last year and the year before, so if you fancy seeing Big Ben lit up in real life (and not just from your parents’ lounge on the TV, with Granny gulping sherry in one corner), do get your tickets in advance.
