Londoners will gather in memory of the victims of the Borough Market terror attack.
It takes place between 6pm and 7pm tonight, Monday June 5, at Potters Fields Park – perhaps better known as ‘the grassy bit between City Hall and Tower Bridge.’ [Photo: @kaiserldn]
“The Mayor invites all Londoners – and everyone visiting our city – to come together in solidarity to remember those who have lost their lives in Saturday’s attack, to express sympathy with their families and loved ones and to show the world that we stand united in the face of those who seek to harm us and our way of life.
We will never let these cowards win and we will never be cowed by terrorism.”
You can also lay flowers at the flag poles by City Hall.
Note that while London Bridge station is now open, a security cordon is still in place around some local streets, including Borough Market, which remains closed.
