With two Bank Holidays to look forward to, our excitement for the weekend can’t be dampened that easily. But we are afraid to inform you that Piccadilly Line tube drivers will be striking for 24 hours this week. The walk out will begin on Wednesday 23rd March at 9pm and will be closed for the entire duration of Thursday. If you use the Piccadilly Line to get to work, maybe you’ll just have to ask for a five day weekend?! Or get the Northern Line… Happy days.
Because we’re here to look out for you, Secret London are giving first time Uber users £15 off their first ride (which is basically a trip across London for free). Just download the app and enter the promo code SECRETLONDON when taking your first ride.
There are also two more strikes planned for April, on the 19th and 21st. For more information and alternative routes for your journey on Thursday, visit the TfL website.
