There’s Going To Be Another 24 Hour Tube Strike This Week

Another Tube strike is planned this Wednesday, 25th January, in a dispute over staff displacement. Transport for London have announced that a strike is planned on the Central line and Waterloo & City line. If the strike goes ahead, services will be affected from late on Wednesday evening and all day on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the walk-out is due to begin at 9pm however TfL have said that last trains on the Central and Waterloo & City lines will finish around an hour earlier than usual. On Thursday there is likely to be no service on the Waterloo & City line, no central line service east of Leytonstone and less frequent trains on the rest of the Central line. All other services will apparently be running normally but are likely to be much busier than usual, particularly the Victoria line and the Jubilee line between London Bridge and Waterloo. TfL have warned of potential queuing outside stations and a lengthier time to board trains.
