It was gouda news that Camden were opening London’s very first cheese bar, but the fact that they’re now hosting an entire festival dedicated to the stuff is even feta.
It’s called The Cheese Project and it’s the best thing to ever grace the grounds of this ‘ere city. You can eat cheese, buy cheese, talk about cheese, listen to other people talk about cheese… in fact, if you were to describe your perfect weekend, we’d bet it would sound a lot like this.
Many of London’s street food favourites will be making an appearance, each pairing up with different cheesemakers to create special collaborative dishes over the 2-day festival. Expect to see the likes of Raclette Bros, Mac to the Future and Camden’s very own Cheese Bar, as well as many other legendary food stalls from all over the city.
To accompany the fromage frenzy, CRATE Brewery and East London Liquor Company will be on hand serving up craft beer and cocktails to wash it all down. As you wander about Camden Market’s North Yard, dabbling in all the dairy, there’ll also be live acoustic music from the likes of Florence Joelle and Camden Acoustic Club. Isn’t that grate?
They say cheese gives you bad dreams and, after this weekend, you’ll be terrified to close your eyes.
