Tanqueray’s newest Seville-inspired gin is about to give you some serious wanderlust.
Anyone who’s visited Seville will know that the colours of the city show more variety than a Pantone catalogue. There’s nothing more Sevillan than than the brightly-coloured houses of Betis Street reflected in the Guadalquivir, the copper tones of the Jewish quarter, and the warm hues of the Plaza de España.
Well, to celebrate the vibrant colours of Seville, Tanqueray is launching a new gin: Flor de Sevilla. Inspired by an original recipe from founder Charles Tanqueray himself, this fruity and fragrant gin draws inspiration from Seville’s bittersweet oranges, paying tribute to the colourful city. This new drink was revealed on April 12th, ahead of the famous Feria de Abril festival that lights up Seville every year.
We recommend pairing this sun-soaked gin with Mediterranean tonic water and a wedge of orange. Just sit back, relax, and pretend you’re lounging on a sunny veranda in southern Spain, G&T in hand, and not a cloud in the sky. The perfect way to honour the laid-back Sevillian style of living while you’re stuck in rainy old England.
You can purchase the new Flor de Sevilla gin online now, or keep an eye out in your local supermarket as it launches in stores later this month.
