London is bursting with glorious Supper Clubs full of willing diners, talented chefs and even a nude model or two. So, what are you waiting for? Grab London by the cutlery and jump on every communal table that comes your way! Here’s a couple that are coming up soon…
This saucy supper club combines nude artists with your dinner. Run by the Partridge sisters, the evening begins with a glass of wine and a drawing session around a nude model run by the artist, Charlotte. This is then followed by a scrumptious 3 course meal cooked by the artist’s sister, and chef, Annabel. Thursdays, 7-10pm, it’s £40 for a masterpiece, a marvellous dinner and many a new friend. BYOB.
In the prohibition era, you had to go underground to get intoxicated. At this 1920s speakeasy themed club, you have to get on a boat. More specifically, via a drink on arrival, dinner cocktail and dessert shot to accompany your mouth-watering 3 course menu, including mini meatballs, chicken breast à la rose, Baileys cheesecake and much more. All this and a glamorous trip on The Floating Showroom Hackney for £55, available either in March or April.
This is the one for the Foodies. For just £19.50 you get a 3 course off-menu meal with wine. Experiments, alterations, triumphs, curiosities… you will experience it all on the Chef’s Table at Farley Macallan, a modern and stylish wine bar and restaurant just a stone’s throw away from Hackney Central. Think Truffle Popcorn and Horseradish Quark. Dine happy in the knowledge that Chef Luke Ramsden, from the top Private Members Clubs of London, is prepping your food, as well the understanding that your reactions will dictate the new menu items at Farley Macallan. Piri Piri Power trip.
This Italian Supper Club is all about the family feel with huge communal tables and a pledge to make new friends during a cosy supper. 5 courses ensure a lengthy bonding time with a centre-piece flame grilled lamb neck bringing everyone together (with fresh pasta, risottos, sorbets, grilled vegetables either side). You’ll find Forza in a lofty Peckham Warehouse with the 5 course supper coming in at £35. Come for the food, stay for the view.
