After thousands of people voted for a new polar research ship to be named ‘Boat McBoatface’, a comical guard at Waterloo station decided to perk up London commuters by naming the train ‘Trainy McTrainface’. And it certainly got a lot of laughs from it’s passengers, who reacted on social media.
Bravo the member of South West staff at Waterloo. Trainy McTrainface. pic.twitter.com/REY9lCP6jx

It’s really the little things that can uplift a commuter’s day and this guard’s cheeky gesture did the trick. According to South West trains, this one-off name given to the train running from Portsmouth to Waterloo is actually genuine.
To the member of staff responsible for “Trainy McTrainface”: I salute you.
