This Is How Long A Month’s Rent In London Will Last You In Other Cities

We’re going to let you in on a little secret… Living in London is pretty bloody expensive (and we’ll tell you that for free!). A price comparison website, Check In Price, have come across a nifty, yet slightly depressing, tool Numbeo to show you how long the rent you pay in London would last you in cities across the world. Here are the results…

As you can see, for the price of £1995, (the London monthly average), you can buy yourself – sorry, RENT yourself – a pad in London for the total of 30 days or a pad in Prague for 115 days or even a pad in New Delhi for the grand total of 225 days. Are you packing your bags yet? In fact, the only city with higher rent than London seems to be New York with the average price of rent at £2759 for 21 days… Sorry guys!
