Singing Seesaws Will Arrive In Leicester Square

share on:

From the 5th of October 15 glowing, musical seesaws will arrive in Leicester Square to fill us gloomy Londoners with a bit of October cheer.. if that’s a thing?

These seesaws are activated by movement and will come to life with LED lights and speakers when they start being used. When not in use, these seesaws will glow a solid bright colour, sort of like a long industrial lightbulb – but in a really pretty way!

Part of an installation called Impulse this fun and funky urban playground will be free for use by the public, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to be serenaded by a group of children’s playground rides in the middle of Leicester Square?! Can we request Justin Beiber?

These amazing, musical seesaws will be around till the 27th October so don’t miss them!

After recently graduating from a degree in History (something she wishes her student loan would become), Annabel resents people who complain about their commutes between zone 1 & 2, as hers goes beyond the Oyster zone. It's worth it, however, to be able to write in a city where bars stay open past 8pm.
