This Is Why You Shouldn’t Park Your Car Too Close To The Thames…

Yesterday, on Putney Embankment, a parked BMW was swept up by the Thames. Passersby watched as the unattended car was taken away by the tide, floated down the river and, then, eventually sunk to the bottom.

Witnesses claimed that the owner wasn’t in sight. Many stood by and took pictures, sharing it on social media as a warning to anyone who may be tempted to park on the slipway too close to the river.
