Shake Shack are hosting their annual Great British Shake Sale and they’re collaborating with the baking geniuses over at Dominique Ansel Bakery.
The American burger joint that had us all craving frozen custard and the bakery that brought Cronuts to our shoresare set to become the ultimate dream team, as Shake Shack and Dominique Ansel are collaborating to raise money for charity.
The Great British Shake Sale is put on by Shake Shack every year and the premise is simple – donate £2 or more to Action Against Hunger and receive a voucher for a free shake on your next visit. This offer is on for the whole of August so some summer damage could definitely be done …
The all-new Banoffee shake has been created by Dominique Ansel (who just so happens to be named the world’s best pastry chef) and his team to be sold for a limited time for this special occasion.
Expect hand-spun vanilla custard, caramelised bananas, speculoos cookie crumbles (spiced shortbread to you and me), whipped cream and a hint of sea salt to finish it all off. It’s all for charity so it’d be a shame not to grab one, right?
