As part Totally Thames – a festival running on the river throughout September – an installation aptly named Floating Dreams is on display by Millennium Bridge. Created by much-celebrated South Korean artist, Ik-Joong Kang, this illuminated piece is an impressive 3 storeys high and is comprised of 500 small drawings. These drawings were each created by those people and families who were divided and displaced during the Korean War. Kang is giving a talk about his piece on 16th September.
Totally Thames aims to bring the river to life through culture, art and various events happening on the river. For more information and to see what else is happening during Totally Thames, check out the website. Here are some of your snaps of the mesmerizing sculpture.
