Pretend you’re Blossom, Bubbles or Buttercup at Soho‘s Powerpuff Girl Emporium this June.
Fighting crime, trying to save the world, here they come just in time… OK, we’ll stop. The days of aimlessly watching Cartoon Network may be behind us, but your one weekend, you can relive your childhood dreams of having cool superpowers.
The Powerpuff Girl Emporium will welcome guests in the hope that it will get us all appreciating badass female leads. After a study found that only 1 in 10 superhero films have a female lead, Cartoon Network is opening this pop-up to celebrate girls everywhere. OK, and to tie in with brand new episodes airing. That’s also a reason.
Guests can expect everything from immersive zones, nail bars, a ‘Powerpuff Yourself’ area, a snake and rabbit petting area, and even a punchbag or two. You know, if you really wanted to train to be a superhero.
The Powerpuff Girls themselves will be making an appearance – hopefully there’s no sign of Mojo Jojo.
The Powerpuff Girl Emporium will open from June 1st-3rd at 15 Bateman Street, Soho, W1D 3AQ. It will be open daily from 11am-5pm.
