Despite our many differences and the wonderful diversity that makes London such an exciting place to live, there are a few things that all Londoners love. We all love a sunny day in the local park. We all love a trip on the DLR and a leisurely evening down the pub. And we all love a market full of exciting stalls and vendors. Fortunately, as the days get warmer, a charming riverside market is returning to London. After taking time off over the autumn and winter, Battersea’s River Walk Market is back.
Situated along the River Thames, right next to the iconic Battersea Power Station, the River Walk Market takes place every Sunday. Now that they’re back, they’ll be running all through the spring and summer, with a market every weekend until the end of August. For 2026, they’re bringing back old favourites from last year, as well as new traders with an impressive variety of offerings.
At the River Walk Market
So what exactly can you expect to find when you visit? The market promises “a rotating programme of independent food, drink and artisan traders”. These range across artisan makers and bakers, specialty food brands, drinks producers, pet-focused offerings, and more.

Among the traders returning from last year are:
- Acai Island
- Biltong Boss
- Chillie Brothers
And among the new traders slinging their wares are:
- Borough Cheese
- Vine Street
- London Vermouth
- Mecantu Sea Moss
- La Maritxu London
All that is in addition, by the way, to Battersea Power Station’s 170 permanent shops, restaurants, bars, attractions, and more.
And there’s always something new to explore, with new vendors, pop-ups, and experiences dropping down each week. All the more reason to make it part of your Sunday routine and return every week! (Not that I need much convincing to go to the market on the weekend as it is…)

You can find the River Walk Market along the Thames, right next to Battersea Power Station. Access it just a short walk away from Battersea Park, or across the river from Chelsea. The nearest station is Battersea Power Station. Or you can even rock up by boat, via the Thames Clippers river bus service.
