It only takes 5 minutes so if you’re not already registered to vote, do it so you’re able to have your say in the General Election on June 8th.
We won’t go into the general feelings about this snap election, but what is important is that you all claim your vote this year. To be able to vote in the General Election, you need to have registered by the deadline: 11:59pm on 22 May. You can do it online, and it’s really quick. You don’t need to re-register if you have previously registered for past elections at the same address – but if you’ve moved, fill out the form again!
Not going to be here on June 8th? You can still vote! But you’ll need to be register to vote by post or proxy, which you also have to do by May 22, and does involve sending an actual paper bit of post. So HURRY.
Whatever your opinion, we should all have our say. And even if you are confused on what box you’ll put that big fat X in, there’s bound to be some fun in the form of #DogsAtPollingStations.
