From the same genius behind The Cheese Truck and the new Cheese Bar in Camden, comes a cheese-filled adventure… on a Routemaster bus.
The epitome of London is obviously the red double decker but imagine gorging on Gouda, stuffing your face with Stilton and chomping on Cheddar whilst cruising around our magnificent city in one of them. How grate?!
Taking place as part of London Food Month, Matthew Carver has created the Urban Dairy Tour. It’ll take its lucky passengers around to all the wonderful stops in our cheese crazy capital, starting from Kupros Dairy in Cheshunt to La Latteria in Acton for mozzarella and burrata. A lunch stop will be made at bustling Maltby Street Market and then the tour continues onto Bermondsey where Kappacasein Dairy make their own hard pressed cheeses (and make some pretty damn good toasties too).
Each visit on the tour will be around an hour long and will include information about each venue plus lots of Caerphilly thought out cheese facts and tastings! The tour will finish off at brand new restaurant The Cheese Truck where Carver expects to serve up some of their bestselling bits, including deep fried cheese sticks and their infamous oozy toasties.
Tickets go on sale May 2nd and will be available to purchase here.
