Embankment Is Getting A Rather Swish New Venue

And Fever are here to help you celebrate the opening.

Though Proud Camden may have closed for good, the Proud group haven’t wasted any time in opening up a new venue. From March 10th, they’ll be bringing their trademark flair to the riverside, with the opening of Proud Embankment. Hiding beneath Waterloo Bridge, this two-storey cabaret restaurant is now fully equipped to host 450 happy punters for nights of daringly debauched entertainment.

As dusk turns to twilight, Proud Embankment transforms, becoming a 750-capacity nightclub. The entertainment will roll on until 5am, allowing you to rave and revel until the sun comes up. But it’s not just the venue that’s got bigger and better. You’ll find more high-kicking routines than ever, as the brand new circus and burlesque performances are fives times bigger than Proud’s previous efforts. Does that mean it’s five times the fun? Only one way to find out…

To celebrate the debut of Proud Embankment, our pals at Fever have sorted you out with tickets. And because they’re lovely people, tickets are reduced until previews end on April 12th. Thursdays see Big Top Burlesque thrill you with contortionists and fire-breathers, whilst Lady Marmalade puts a Parisian spin on your Friday evenings. Saturday is an altogether raunchier affair, one which sees the Secret Burlesque Society promising “dark and naughty cabaret”. Each show comes with food from their healthy new Pan-Asian menu, because cabaret on an empty stomach just isn’t the same. Dinner and a show has never been quite this risque…

Proud Embankment can be found at 8 Victoria Embankment, WC2R 2AB. Nearest stations are Temple and Embankment.
