It’s the news that lovers of fizz and bubbles have been waiting for: London’s first bar devoted entirely to prosecco will be opening soon!
Oh yes oh yes oh yes, it’s coming – and soon! Opening February 9, 2018, Prosecco House will be serving the finest fizz that Italy has to offer, and nothing else. It’s time to say ChardonNO to Chardonnay, and blank Sauvignon Blanc, because this place is all about the bubbly stuff. Prosecco House has links to five family-owned vineyards, and will be stocking over twenty varieties of prosecco that cannot be found anywhere else in London. Pretty exclusive stuff then!
The vineyards in question are Marchiori, Rivalta, Cirotto, TASI Bio, and Andreola, all of which sound very fancy and Italian. They’re all from the Veneto region – the homeland of prosecco – and you can buy it by the glass, bottle, magnum, or jeroboam. Oh by the way, a jeroboam holds three litres of the stuff, just in case you were wondering. Guess we know what we’re asking for this Christmas! Mercifully, there will be some nibbles to wash all the bubbles down, and if you’d like to pimp your prosecco, the bar will also be offering some prosecco-based cocktails.
The decor is pretty swanky too, with Italian marble and antique tables completing the svelte look. But the focal point is undoubtedly a wine fridge which will occupy an entire wall (#lifegoals). Plus, if you’re aiming to live a life of complete luxury and indulgence, then you’re in luck. UberEats and Deliveroo will deliver it to your door, so you don’t even need to leave your decadent Chelsea penthouse/crappy Acton bedsit to get it. Bottoms up!
Prosecco House will be officially opening on February 9th, 2018, and you’ll be able to find it at 1 Crown Square, One Tower Bridge, SE1 2SE.
