Just in time for World Gin Day, The Princess Victoria in west London has announced that it is opening a gin hotel.
Every year, at around this time, my inbox gets flooded with World Gin Day #content. Some of it is horrendously dull, but this is the sort of sh*t that gets my ears pricked up. Another gin hotel?! This is exactly why I live in this beautiful, beautiful city.
At The Princess Victoria in Shepherd’s Bush, you can choose from over 100 different gins at the bar, before popping straight upstairs to bed. Is that not just the ideal scenario? The building, which is one of the earliest and most notable gin palaces in London dating back to 1829, has five new bedrooms – each designed around a different gin botanical, and named after a famous gin cocktail (Negroni, Bramble, Vesper, Gibson and Bronx).
Extra plus points? If you stay before the end of July 2018, you’ll also get a free G&T during your stay.
Opening on June 9th, which just so happens to be World Gin Day, The Princess Victoria is set to be the perfect sleepover location for ginthusiasts. Rooms start at £99 per night. You can book online here.
