A Pop-Up Virtual Reality Cinema Has Arrived In Covent Garden

…and it will haunt your dreams.

Imagine the scariest horror film you’ve ever seen. Now imagine that you’re in it. Right next to all of the paranormal activity and the stranger things…

In a first for London, a haunted VR cinema is heading to the city in the lead up to Halloween. Veero, the big-time virtual reality geeks, searched film festivals far and wide to find the best and most innovative VR content especially for this event. One hour of VR features three scary shorts, including the award-winning movie “11:57”, which has been described as a 360-degree nightmare (yes, that’s apparently a positive thing). Between the short films, there’ll be a brief interval to recover your nerves and grab a cocktail (hey, we have a feeling you’re going to need one).

So, if you’re looking for something a little different to do this Halloween, and you don’t mind a bit of a scare, why not step inside a horror movie? It doesn’t get much more immersive than this. The pop-up runs from 25th-29th October at 68a Neal Street, Covent Garden, WC2H 6PA. Get your tickets for this one-of-a-kind VR experience over at Fever.

Also, a little birdie told us that, if the pop-up is successful, they’re looking to launch a permanent VR cinema next year.
