A Pop-Up Halloumi Restaurant Is Coming To East London

share on:

This November, a pop-up restaurant is heading to 100 Hoxton to show off Cyprus’ favourite cheese.

Hallou, is it mi you’re looking for?

Thanks to the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, a restaurant dedicated entirely to salty, squeaky cheese is coming and it’s called ‘Say Hallou-mi to Cyprus’. The menu will feature chargrilled halloumi flatbread, crumbled halloumi dippers with chilli jam, courgette and halloumi salad, and halloumi and cauliflower fritters. So, basically, a hella ton of cheese. And, because nobody could ever expect a person to have to choose between cheese and cheese, you can also opt for the ultimate experience and share a tasting platter that features every item on the menu.

There’ll even be halloumi ice-cream for dessert if you’re not totally cheesed out (and don’t find the concept of halloumi ice-cream completely bonkers).

Accompanying the food will be a selection of traditional Cypriot cocktails, including Harissa Bloody Marys and Coriander and Ginger Martinis. Yamas!

The pop-up will take place at 100 Hoxton between 13th-19th November. So, to guarantee a spot, make sure you book here
