The instant photo pioneers are celebrating their 80th birthday in style with a pop-up store in Shoreditch.
And where else than the hip container collection at Boxpark?
Polaroid have decided to set up shop in BOXPARK for their first ever pop-up store.
Visitors can try out some of the latest Polaroid inventions ranging from the Polaroid Snap Touch, which is an instant print digital camera, or the Polaroid Zip photo printer, which connects to your phone via Bluetooth to get those photos printed even quicker. Technology!
There’s also other quirky new things such as a brand new Polaroid LED smart TV, or the Polaroid app that allows users to order their classic Polaroid prints in a keepsake box. There’s obviously lots of new cameras to try out as well… and there’s even an MI5-worthy intelligent home camera, too.
Polaroid President and CEO Scott W. Hardy states that “We hope visitors will enjoy celebrating our 80th anniversary and discovering the brand characteristics of sharing, ease-of-use, instant and fun for themselves”.
It runs from 25th July for 5 days until 3oth July.
