UPDATE: The Night Tube Start Date Has Been Set!

Could this be it?! Finally, reports state that TfL are drawing up plans for the all-night Tube to be with us by August this year. Although an exact date has not been confirmed, we do know that the launch of the service will be staggered across the tube lines, starting with the Victoria and Jubilee Lines this summer. The night Tube trains will also initially only run on Fridays and Saturdays.

Come September, reports say that the services will then be introduced to the Central, Northern and Piccadilly Lines. The service was due to start last September but was held up after a failure to reach a deal on pay and conditions. Although this is a whole year later than was initially expected, we’re nevertheless excited that the end result is almost in sight.
